Circumcision reduces sensitivity and pleasure, and increases masturbation difficulty by over 60%. New studies in the British Journal of Urology prove it. It should be a last resort.

My advice is to get a cream that works in over 90% of cases. It's 0.05% betamethasone; heck you can even buy it online cheap.

Did the doctor tell you how to stretch it? The first thing you should do is let your foreskin heal before you try anything. Don't try to pull it back, and just wash the outside for now; you can use some lotion with aloe vera to help if you want.

When your foreskin has fully healed, then try the stretching exercises; there are several. In one stretching exercise, take two fingers and kind of hook each finger on either side of the foreskin and pull in opposite directions (like increasing its radius) as far as it'll go without pain or discomfort. Stretch and hold for a few seconds, then let it relax for a few seconds, then repeat this process for a few minutes every day for a few weeks to a month. It's best to do this after a shower when the skin's a little more flexible. It's important to not cause pain or tearing, as if it scars when healing it can be difficult to get progress (see link 1).

If the stretching doesn't work, as a doctor about special prescription creams. According to one study, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can provide (see link 2). If after another month or so and no improvement, then you might want to consider surgical options.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean circumcision, as there are a couple surgical alternatives. Usually these alternatives are cheaper, less painful, have a quicker recovery time, and remove little foreskin (see link 3). There is alternatively something called a minimal or partial circumcision, where only the tip of the foreskin (the part of the foreskin that's causing the trouble) is removed, thereby shortening the foreskin but leaving an otherwise functional (see link 4).

Regardless, phimosis (tight foreskin) rarely becomes so severe that surgical intervention is necessary, and circumcision should only be considered if everything else you're willing to try has failed. See the last 2 links for more info, and good luck with whatever you try.

In most parts of the world phimosis (tight foreskin) is very successfully treated without surgery. In the US doctors (often circumcised themselves) like to take the way that is easiest and most profitable FOR THEM. But it's not their dicks being permanently mutilated! The only real medical indications for circumcision are frostbite, cancer, or gangrene in the foreskin area. All three are extremely rare.

Try stretching the skin very gently with your fingers. It's usually easy to do in a warm bath, or else use some baby oil or lotion. Just hook your fingers on two sides of the skin and pull until it just starts to hurt - no more - hold a few seconds, relax, and then repeat. If you do this as often as you can for a couple of weeks, the skin will probably start to loosen. If not, do ask the doctor for some hormone cream to help. If all this sounds slow and tedious, just think of the weeks of pain you are likely to endure after a circumcision!

Take a look at the excellent information at http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis You'll need to scroll past the stuff about babies, but there are a lot of good links. Good luck - and don't let anybody chop off your foreskin! Get a second - even a third - opinion before you let anyone near your penis with anything sharp!

You should go to your doctor and insist on being referred for circumcision. If you cannot retract your foreskin all the way to fully expose the groove behind the head for washing and for sex, you have a serious problem which only circumcision will cure.

Get your Penis circumcised so you'll be normal. Besides, a flaccid, uncircumcised Penis is ugly. Your parents selfishly disregarded this key procedure for you. As they say, better late than never.

tell the penis doctor that stretching your penis yourself is not working for you so he/she (the penis doctor) should be the one to stretch it for you. cheers!
