Well, first question would be: cold, or warm?

If I had to rank them it'd be this:

1. Canada: Absolutely beautiful country, friendly and hospitable people, relaxed lifestyle, wonderful skiing/snowboarding, great hiking and fresh air. Plus, free healthcare to boot, and all the comforts of home (including similar accents, lingo, food, cars, tv, etc...)

2. Australia: A very, very close second. Wonderful, extremely friendly people, fantastic weather (can get a bit hot in the summer months though), beautiful scenery, some of the best beaches in the world, and a relaxed atmosphere. Again a comfortable place to live, though Australia in recent years has seen issues due to racial tension and such in Sydney and other metropolitan areas. Aussies overall though are known worldwide for their friendliness and trust, as well as easy-going nature. That's why the 2000 olympics in Sydney were dubbed "the friendly games".

3. New Zealand: Again, a beautiful country. Probably the most beautiful of the three. A bit small though. People are known for being amazingly friendly (just like the Aussies) and a bit more nature-oriented (especially in regard to sports). New Zealanders have better relations with indigenous peoples (Maoris) and are not far from Australia should you need to wander a bit more.

I'd go with Canada...Health care, farily nonviolent and tolerant people, Montreal for partying, and a place where saying that from time to time the American government might be wrong about something will get you a pat on the back (and maybe a beer) instead of an all expense paid trip to Gitmo. Also...the Canadain national anthem is way easier to remember that the American one.

Having been to Canada and Australia (living in Australia atm), I would definitely recommend either of these two. Lovely countries with beautiful people. Unemployment rate is very low at the moment in Australia, and real estate has plummeted, so is a good time to buy property.

I've never been to NZ, but I have heard good things =P

Go to Canada.
Free Health Care
America is a bad place to immigrate these days.

They might start the draft if a Republican is elected in 08, because they are afraid to end a War that will never end.

Canada is cleaner.

We pollute too much because Bush pretty much shut down The EPA.

Come to America on Jan. 20th 2009, if the United States has a more Liberal Mined President.

Well if you're a US citizen the easiet place for you to immigrate to is probably New Zealand. They have a lot of different visa options and have a shortage of skilled workers. I believe all you have to do is have a job offer and they'll give you a work visa as long as you meet the other health and background requirements. Check out their website at http://www.immigration.govt.nz

Actually, if like cold weather, you might want to consider some of the Scandinavian countries. Norway measures better than the U.S. in a number of factors. Do some research on it and find out.

From where?

If you aren't in The United States, don't come here. We're full up. And, just ask any liberal, we suck. We're a horrible people. We're to blame for most all of the worlds ills.

And, frankly, we'd like to keep all that guilt to ourselves.

Let's get our grammar correct. You are wanting to EMMIGRATE, which means you are wanting to LEAVE your country of origin and go somewhere else. It's only to the people in the country where you want to GO that you are IMMIGRATING.

Ummm... you also don't mention from which country you are leaving. It would be nice to know, so no one will recommend that you go TO the same country you are wanting to LEAVE.
