Most do not have a purpose of life. What is life then, but eat, sleep, and hang around as kids in those days of ignorance.

The objectivity of life has changed around due to the influence of education. In a way, education reveals the complexities of information and knowledge for developing our aspirants of the future. On the contrary, those not seeking the path of education in the awakening of one’s purpose have to rely on aesthetic mode of inspiration. Love and commitment for matrimony can inspire a cause or purpose for the future. Moreover, the rudiments of needs and wants have intrusive power in convincing people to consider the future. On a positive note, we are living a purpose that varies from one another. However, our purpose has been to live and live rightly.

I DO. The problem is that because we have this prior knowledge, too many of us go through life waiting for the big BANG!! that will show them that purpose. We need to relax, make decisions and choices, while paying close attention to their effect on not only us but others. For some, something extravagant happens to show you the answer/purpose but for the majority it's when you step back from the situation and sometimes yourself and you find your truly calling. Importantly, you have got to get involved in several things before you find your calling, and unfortunately, most of us are willing to do that. Open yourself to knew experiences even just once, read a lot, stay in touch with current issues, what you enjoy doing, etc.

That is our curse of having the most advanced consciousness. I think we as humans have a tendency to want to believe that everything has purpose. I don't really believe that anything has a purpose. I think that when you boil it down, we and everything else are just a gigantic cocktail of elements and chemicals flying through space. A lot of people may think that this line of thinking is somewhat depressing. But I look at the bigger picture. Regardless of whether we and the rest of the universe have a purpose, it is still amazing. Whether we have a purpose or not doesn't matter. I think we just have to appreciate the aesthetic value of life. We have to step back and appreciate how unique we are relative to the rest of what exists in the universe. It kind of messes with your mind. I start thinking about how all that I am is just a combination of different chemicals, yet I have consciousness and can experience emotion. OK, now I'm just ranting. In a nutshell, my answer is that it doesn't matter. Just take a step back and look at life from this perspective. It has taught me to learn to appreciate life and enjoy it.

Every living thing on this Earth has a purpose for being here. Just because you don't know what you want to do in life doesn't mean that you don't affect the people around you. They love you, whether you believe it or not, whether you like it or not. Try & figure out what makes you happy, where you are when you're happy & who you're with when you're happy or excited or generally content with yourself. When you can figure that out, try to take it one step further to make it even a more happier time! There are some people that are older, much older, that still don't know how to make themselves happy. That's a sad thing.
Do what makes you happy, whether it be playing music, dancing, designing engines, software, websites, cooking, baking, the list goes on.....
Great luck to you!

We all have a purpose in this collective, interrelated web of energy we call the universe. If you are not defining and choosing your own purpose in life, someone or something will choose it for you. In due time, you'll figure it out. My feeling is that only when you find your authentic self will you then discover your purpose in life.

Yes, I do, and I think the purpose is to learn and grow. I believe even the Creator is in evolution, hence, he raises questions that we contribute answers to...and then he raises other questions. We are move forward ...which as a soul...is over a very long time and many lifetimes. I have memories, as my daughter has. When she was 7, 34 years ago, she remembered other entire lifetimes, including a very complex one of Egypt with no exposure to anything Egyptian. By sharing this journey with others, many have come to believe. Most of my talents today arre not learned in this lifetimes. Our potential is unlimited and meant to be enjoyed.

Maybe your purpose is to allow someone to help you. Some people NEED to be helpful and if there was no one to help, they'd have no purpose.

Try reaching out to someone -- a therapist, teacher, clergyman, doctor, family member, friend. ALLOW them to help you. You might both be better off if you can find the strength to reach out.

Good luck.

I suppose we must have a purpose if we are to exist. I guess that the purpose of life is to FIND that purpose.

The only purpose is the one we make. If you can't forge your own destiny, then you are likely to fall to the natural chaos and entropy of the universe.

Good luck.
