vampires are fake.. IF they were real it would only take (i think it was) 2 months for the entire planet to be infected.

How would you report a sighting if you were dead, or turned into the undead, or driven insane, or totally fooled by a creature far older and smarter than you are? How do you know I'm not one and are baiting you for a laugh? And if there were a true report it would only be denied by people using words like the ones you post.
You cannot prove the existence or non-existence of the supernatural. That's why they call it supernatural. There's as a compelling scientific case for vampires, (none), as there is for god, (none), and millions believe in him.

Yes, I can totally see the insanity of this. I didn't even know people claimed vampires really existed.

While I do happen to believe you, I gotta ask:
If you had walked the earth since time long forgotten and were considered by all of folklore and conventional religion to be a horrible parasitic abomination, would you go around announcing your existence to the rest of the world? I wouldn't. I'd find a nice place to hang out, use my wisely invested income to pad out a decent unlife, and wait out eternity.

Renfield was driven insane by his association with Count Dracula. And to quote Abraham Van Helsing "The vampire's power lies in the fact that no one believes in him."
So, yes, I DO see the insanity in this. And the irony.

Don't underestimate the power of the "dark side" of people . They can invent ideas and pretend they are vampires. That explains Goth.

Yes, you would think that people would know about it by now, I agree, but I also don't want to say nothing can happen, cause you never know!
