Do you find it a bit frustrating when....?

Question

Women on Y!A constantly ask if they or could be pregnant? I understand they might be scared or need to talk, however if they are unsure, shouldn't they just take a home pregnancy test first, or for that matter just go to Y!A & look up "Am I pregnant"? and look for other answers? It's posted numerous times.

UPDATE: I searched for "am I pregnant" with quotes and got 4,099 hits. What 13 year-old is gonna have enough patience to go through that??? Omfg...I'm freaking out...now I think *I* could be pregnant lol!!

Not necessarily...alot of these women could be teens and trust me that is a scary thing to do (take a pregnancy test) when you think you might be. Sometimes just talking before knowing the final results helps a lot.

I don't know WHY they don't just buy a simple pregnancy test.
That's the answer they will get from almost everybody.

No matter what the signs are, they'll need to do it anyway so why bother asking? Gee!

It doesn't bother me anymore because I stopped answering them. I got tired of writing,"Get a home pregnancy test."

Yeah I know like thousands of women do ask Could I be pregnant. Kind of common sense did you miss a period are you having symtoms... I kow it is nice to ask other real people who have been through the experience but if you are old wnough to have sex I think you should be old enough to tell.

very true.

but i guess they need to talk to some one, just to get it out of their systems. they know that they'd never get the definite answer by asking a question on Y!A.... all they want to do is to begin accepting that there's a possibility, and to do so they tell their suspicion to total stranger. i think it's therapeutic. and I've done the same regarding many other problems in my life.

i never got the definite answer, but i felt better by letting it out.

The only thing with those home pregnancy tests are there are a lot of false positives....Best to see your doctor.

wow...you probably think your the smartest person to hit this planet don't you..?....a lot of people ask quetions here not just to get the answers but also a kind of "support" if that is the right word to use...they are probably scared..they know what to do but they still wanna be told because most of the "women" who ask such questions are really just "girls"....and if you have such a problem with it then why don't you just switch to another question...trust me, they can do without the answers of people who have their heads way up their @$$e$ .....
