Well my boyfriend isn't too thrilled about me having a girl. But he likes the idea of us combining our first names to create her first name so here is what we have come up with:

Gailosh
Joshail

Her middle name will be Templeton. So which of those two will be the better name?! Thanks! I'm Super excited!!!

If you name your daughter Gailosh or Joshail, she's going to be teased for the first twelve years of her life. The current baby naming trend is old, classy names. Your Joshail is going to be surrounded by Emmas and Isabellas and Madisons.

Plus TEMPLETON? The only Templeton most children have ever heard of is the rat from Charlotte's Web.

It's a cute, creative idea, but I don't think it would be in your child's best interests.

I'm definitely voting for Joshail, especially after you pronounced them... it's too cute! And it sounds better with the middle name of Templeton anyway! I hope your baby girl is as cute and adorable as her name will be! Take good care of her and give her lots of love! (I love babies, I'm a 3 time grandma with two more on the way!)

Those are very strange names. She will be constantly having to spell and explain.

I'd choose something classic, dignified, and feminine to complement and offset the classic, dignified, masculine sound of Templeton. How about:

Natalie Templeton
Deborah Templeton
Sarah Templeton
Teresa Templeton
Abigail Templeton

If you want an honest opinion...

I don't like either of them. The way you have them spelled and the way you want to pronounce them don't match. And they LOOK like boy names. Templeton is definitely a boys name. Wasn't that the name of a rat in a movie? Charlotte's Web maybe?

I think you have a problem if your BF's reaction to having a baby is that he isn't "too thrilled" and don't say that its because its a girl. If that's the reason he isn't "too thrilled" well that's just offensive and pathetic. Too bad you got pregnant by such a loser. Do you really want to saddle your daughter with the name of a man who isn't "too thrilled" about having her? Think about that before you do it.

Out of the two... it's Joshail hands down! Girls are the best thing that can happen... they're far cuter and more adorable than boys - you get to pamper them in pink for one thing and once they grow up they make your lives all the more enriching!

Gailosh is like goulash.

How about Joshlynn Gail or Gayla Joshlynn? Or maybe Joss Galia Templeton.

And it's his sperm that made the baby female.

I would have to assume this is a joke-
