KO, lemme clarify this. I share a house with two guys and one of their girlfriends (when she is not away at sea), so technically I am not living alone BUT I feel lonely as I don't have a significant other who actually lives with me PHYSICALLY with whom I can interact with on a more personal level and do things that I would NOT want to do with my housemates, if ya catch me drift.
Saying that, I do need time alone away from the masses in order to gather my thoughts and recharge my batteries from time to time.

I prefer my own company most of the time, strange as that must seem to you. I know plenty of people that can't even stay a second alone. My theory? The world would be a boring place if we were all the same!
Viva la differance!

I live alone...well I'm in a rear apt of a house that has 7 other men living in it. I have no significant other and quite contented and happy with the life I lead...Lonliness is a state of mind missing what it desires....I don't desire, if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't...I'm fine either way.

I truly hate being alone. It is a huge stressor in my marraige. I cannot stand being by myself for more than an hour or so.
I am not very often lonely though.

some people like to be alone, and some people like to say they like being alone.........they just say that for attention from a certain person. Being alone isnt always bad, sometimes you just need it.
