I'd choose the second one because I would see him/her as more sane and more worthy. Possessiveness is a little scary and is a huge sign of poor self-esteem.

I haven chosen the possessive one, although the expression 'to choose' is a bit misleading, since I guess that not even the minority 'choses' her partner.
I soon discovered that he gets jealous very swiftly and he's acting adequately, if he thinks he has to declare that his 'property' belongs to him. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's nothing, but annoying, for it's a immature habitute.
However I wouldn't want to be without him, anyway.

I'd go possessive but then sometimes in either situation you can possibly talk to them about it.

i'd say possessive. least then, i'd know they cared for me :) but they're not gonna stop me from doing what i want!
