Einstein's a great prominment man. He speculated that taking out the sun, would take roughly 8min to the light to get to us, and also 8min when the gravity is extracted from the sun.
Then Earth would be the 3rd planet to drift away, 4mins later Mars, 7min astro belt, 12 Jupitor, ect..

Even though gravity cant be measured by any instrument Einstein speculated that gravity travels with mass, and its a push or pull on bodies and also travels lightspeed. Proof: If you take 2 bodies in space fAr far away but close enough that they will slowly* drift toward each other. If you take one away, the object would would continue tp drift toward the previous objects location but stop. This cant be proven due to the fact of not placing the object far enought from each other.

So does gravity travel the speed of light? 300,000 km/sec???

No. Technically gravity doesn't travel. Gravity is an external force made up of something we aren't quite sure of (my theory is an energy wave).

However, it is impossible for anything to travel at the speed of light, according to Einstein. Since he is your proof, we'll use him. As objects approach the speed of light, they become exponentially more dense. It is my contention, then, that if any object or force were to travel too near the speed of light, that "thing" would cease to be what is was, and simply be infinitely dense matter.

I don't think gravity travels. Gravity is force, not an object or energy. It's just a property of mass.

No, in theory, gravitational forces act instantaneously. However, since there's no way to just make a massive body disapear like that, we can't really test it that way. But look up the LISA gravitational wave experiment.
