It seem they would since they have all those teeth to bring in. Teething causes lots of drool.

when my nephew was teething he did...he used to drool sooo much when he was a baby. we had to keep a bib on him at all times so his clothes wouldnt get soaking wet.

maybe they just don't swallow as much as adults.
