Ginny is a social climber within the clan, she is determined to marry her slow-witted brother Ken to Di Di, securing a connection between her family and the ruling Malloy line. Dale approved this match without the knowledge of Wayne or Dahlia. Ginny and Dale are increasingly at odds, with Ginny attempting to undermine Dale's aims to become the new clan boss.

Ken is Ginny's brother, who is in love with Di Di. Initially a pawn of Ginny's, he finally realizes that Di Di doesn't love him or want to marry him, and he agrees to let her go. Further, he claims he will protect the family from Ginny. It has been revealed that his slow-wittedness is due to a fever he suffered when he was younger.

If Doug was destined to take over the "Travelers" then he wouldn't be able to leave. Much like Dahlia insisted on returning for the funeral of Earl should would never have been able to walk away from the clan (family) if Doug was put in charge.

Because the old man picked Doug to take over the family before he was killed. That would leave her and her brother in charge while Doug and his family were gone because they would be family then. The old man's wife knew this as well but she kept her mouth shut because her son would have to leave if Doug took over. Personally, I wanted them to shoot the son. That was stupid. He murdered his father. He deserved to be shot.
