Because doing a commercial is like selling out to many Americans. If they do the commercial overseas, in a market where they are not a household name, they can get paid without looking like they sold out.

They do it because it is very lucrative to the tune of 10 million for one commercial and it's not seen in America except maybe on youtube.

because they can get away with stuff there that they can't in america. advertise things that they'll but and we wouldnt be interested in....and here it would be corny. lol. i guess they just dig it
