Well, at first I was amused by it and thought that it was a joke, that people couldn't really be that ignorant, but it seemed that they really are that dumb. It is exhausting actually.
It also seems, sometimes overwhelmingly so, that the minuscule 30% of the population who still support dub-ya are all on YA!

There is too much ignorance on both sides of the political aisle. However, worse than that, I think people in the United States have allowed themselves to be divided by wedge issues such as abortion and the war and forgotten that the republic was founded, according to the Constitution, to secure the common defense and promote the general welfare. The central governent is supposed to protect and serve all of us and not just the special interests and extreme ends of the political parties.

Try living in Alabama. Despite everything that has been done, George W. Bush still has a 65% approval rating in this state. So yes I am very tired of being surrounded by them. I'm glad the rest of the country has some sense at least. This guy won two questionable elections, started and is losing a multi billion dollar war based on "questionable" to say the least intelligence, has driven gas prices through the roof with his business friendly lack of an energy policy, mishandled one of the greatest natural disasters known to man, and has the entire rest of the world hating us because of his foreign policy, and supports an attorney general who authorized firings of well qualified US attorneys (that he appointed) because the failed to prosecute members of opposing party. W = WORST EVER!

The hypocrisy of the conservatives is very well described in Al Franken's books. I like "Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them." Despite the media noise, it's based on some very interesting facts.
For example Al Gore never said that he "invented" Internet. What he said was he created the Internet (through funding), which is absolutely true. The talk show and conservative media ganged up on him and turned something that was truly remarkable into a negative.
Unfortunately, the truth does not seem to be as important to some people as is making money.
Bush, on the other hand, lied about his past repeatedly. I guess the best defense against a huge vulnerability is an attack on your opponent on the same topic.
It's incredible to me that the talk radio pundits talk about the "liberal" bias in the media, when the exact opposite is obvious. Check Franken's book for these interesting tidbits.

It's hard to admit that something you've admired and believed in has deceived you all along.
That's how I felt the first time I tried pot. I was just trying it so I could tell my friends to stay away from it and have a little credibility of experience, but the next thing I knew I was having a great time and everybody was beautiful, and I realized I'd been deceived for years.
Until then, I had wanted to join the military. Glad I didn't ever since.

No, I'm tired of ignorant anti-Bush people that only try to find fault and refuses to acknowledge that they are some of the worst people in history... They have no facts... just blind opinions.
Ignorance is only a lack of knowledge. Ignorance can be easily corrected.
Stupidity is when you refuse to get the knowledge to correct the ignorance to choose to live with.

I agree with you; however, I also am tired of all Democrats who place politics above the welfare of America. What we need is an honest third party, but don't hold your breath.

Well first of all its kind of hard to acknowledge Bush has lied when you can give one single concrete example. And second of all its kind of easy to look good when you follow in Clinton's footsteps.
