Did it hurt your feelings to learn that they were involved in a elaborate plot to show sympathy to minorities through media and make it appear that liberals cared for someone who actually lied? I know there are probably some libs out there who believe these guys still did it. Should these men have the right to sue all liberal media that slandered their names? How many here will admit they knew that this woman was lying from the get go?

If you mean liberal media like MSNBC, ABC no they should not apologize. They had anchors like Tucker Carlson, Dan Abrams and Joe Scarborough who doubted the accusers story once the initial story changes started to surface even before people like Sharpton, Jackson and the "new" black panther party showed up.
ABC news also broadcast skepticism long before the boys were even indicted.
I withheld judgment until the first information came back on the initial DNA test that Nifong had said, in his 74 different interviews about those "hooligans who raped this poor woman, would clear the innocent. When that came back and said NONE of the 46 Lacrosse players DNA could be found, I realized the story started to really smell. It got worse when it came out that they were looking for a shoe in the dorm 3 weeks after the initial attack. Then the other dancer came out with her story. Then the switch in stories after she was told she would be cut a break in her violation of probation offense. It stank to high heaven. She has just made it worse for legit victims

No it didn't hurt my feelings. I didn't know the woman was lying. I took a wait and see approach because after all, we hadn't heard the whole story. I think anyone who automatically believed the boys side was just as wrong as the ones who automatically jumped on her side. Why can't people wait and judge the evidence not the the people in the circumstance? Race should not factor into a situation like race. I'd say shame on anyone who choose a side without hearing all the evidence.

What ignorant comments. The media did a huge white wash. If you learned the facts of the case, you would realize that that poor woman was viciously raped.

Uncomfortable truths are seldom exposed in mass media in the United States. We are used to white bread news and the media and corporate sponsors oblige.

it truly is been shown repeatedly. The plea deals that are offered to ward off intense priced trials frequently are commonplace via threat free human beings because they could't arise with the money for to employ an legal professional and the single it truly is appointed via the judicial device is possibly so overworked that they could't spend adequate time to do the pastime nicely. i'm satisfied they understand this. the following is a devil's recommend situation for you: It replaced into admitted that those boys were in difficulty formerly. it truly is a nicely-undemanding undeniable actuality that those boys come from financially advantaged households -- by way of their own admission. it is also nicely undemanding that "He who has the gold makes the guidelines". hence, what if police were offered off so as that evidence replaced into neglected or destroyed? What if DNA samples were switched because some different person replaced into paid off? What if the DA replaced right into a bull dogs and actually straightforward yet replaced into thwarted in his efforts to carry justice to this lady? What if the different female who replaced into there replaced into offered off? Did you spot that the SA did not state that the girl lied -- he stated she had psychological issues and possibly believes she replaced into raped? those boys, in the adventure that they were got here upon responsible, ought to have had to sign in as sex offenders for something of their lives. would not a 365 days of difficulty and experiencing what that's favor to could attend to the judicial device be nicely actual worth the cost somewhat than possibly having to spend time in penitentiary or sign in as sex offenders? the international of privilege creates many extra possibilities in case you stay in it. It also creates havoc for many those who're inherently straightforward and attempt to do a sturdy pastime. undergo in recommendations the above replaced into only a "devil's recommend" situation. imagine about it this kind. you're the legal professional for the different section. What are the motives? How ought to you teach your case? What are the benefits or disadvantages of a plea good deal? ought to the above be one of those plea good deal? it is going to likely be interesting to ascertain no matter if those men record proceedings or no longer. it ought to also be interesting to ascertain if, even as they record those proceedings, no matter if the different section receives bull-dogs attorneys and investigators and actually will take care of to forged doubt on their innocence back. possibly they ought to enable this slide.

The media always prefaces stories like that with qualifiers like aleged or accused ... they aren't that stupid, to open themselves up to a libel suit.

The behavior of the professors and students was pretty disgraceful. that protested against the lacrosse team, however.

BUT, you are guilty of generalization saying "The Liberals" as if all liberals did this.

Didn't hurt my feelings but it did anger me! Liberals victimize the criminals and criminalize the victims. Unless they are minorities then they're always victims, and white privileged males are always the evil oppressors!

Don't know who YOU'VE been talking to. This liberal saw it as a travesty from the start.

You get nowhere with pointless castigating broadsides. They are almost always wrong and make you look like a vengeful idiot.

i think someone is watchig too much FOX!! haha!!
you are pathetic are we supposed to believe it was a fair trial?? think about it, when the football players (just for the record they are all black) are in trial the news does not take its time to take a look at the trial in depth. they just assume, he is guilty. you seen it im sure you have. this country once strongly supported slavery and racism so what makes you think that they cant do it in their own ways. these WHITE athletes got off easy just cause it was a minority, just face the facts America hasnt changed one bit. its tough to swallow but ******* true!! the system has no tolerance for minorities you must know that!!
