Paychecks are due on the day that is designated. Make certain you know when it is that you will be paid. sometimes it is monthly, bi -weekly, or weekly. If you have a day that you turn in your time, you may start another pay period befor you actually get paid. Talk to yout boss, or another worker, and make sure that lateness is not an issue with this company, if that is what you are worried about. Every company I have worked for has different policies. With new employees, it is common to hold back a week before paying. I am not sure why, but I have experieced this.

They have established dates of payment. For example; they pay every two weeks, usually on a Friday. So, the check should be in the employees hand then. I don't know what state you live in, but check with the labor board in your state for legalities regarding that.
