Ok.

You know how in books they try not to leave any empty spaces without words. And the way they do that is by splitting words in half in order to have every sigle line with words, right?

Like for example in this website there is a book that does that:

http://books.google.com/books?vid=isbn15...

Note that this author tried not to leave many blank spaces without words. So in that website there will be a book. Look for the phrase "THEY ARE INSTRUMETAL" and you would see that they split the word "INSTRUMENTAL".

My question:
How can get my computer to automatically do that when I'm writing? In my Microsoft Windows.

On your toolbar, click on Tools. On the Tools drop-down menu, click on Language. On the Language drop-down menu, click on Hyphenation. In the Hyphenation box, click in the box for "Automatically hyphenate document," and then OK. That's it.

You can combine hyphenation with full justification, as suggested by the previous answerer.

In some windows computers, there is this type of font that splits words automatically so there are no blank spaces. it doesn't split them like the rule says to, but it still splits them.
And you might try some of the suggestions of other people. They might work.

Actually you cannot get the computer to do it for you. The reason why it won't work with the computer is because the computer doesn't know where a word can be split, since the rule is that they can only be split between syllables, and it doesn't know where the syllables are or what your intention is.

I hate to say this and I feel the same way about it that you do because I've gone through the same thing, but you have to organize it yourself and do it manually.

If I know what you're talking about (you're website wouldn't work!) then you can highlight everything you've writted and at the top where you can choose if you want right side adjustment or left side adjustment or centered, pick full. See if that gets you what you're looking for.

you will want to select your whole document (highlight it) and then go to where you can select how you want the edges of your document to be aligned, whether to the left, or right or centered, right? select 'Full' or 'Justified'

hope this helps!

oh, and many things, i dunno about microsoft windows, don't offer that option.
