I think he is a great actor,but I'm not sure if he is the greatest actor alive. There are a lot of really great English actors that could vie for the title of greatest actor alive.

I wouldn't say he's the greatest, but he's definitely among the best.
I love a quote of his....(pertaining to people who had achieved success), something about that people who had reached the top floor had an obligation to send the elevator back down. Very astute observation from a classy guy.
