G.A. means you don't have an assigned seat. There is usually a standing area, which is quite large and you just pick a spot. The earlier you get in line the better spot you can get. I've been to concerts like this indoors and outdoors. Usually outdoor concerts have seats in the front and G.A. is somewhere behind those...depending on the size of the seating section will depend on how great your view is. Indoor concerts G.A. is usually the floor...and depending on the type of concert you go to...it can get pretty crazy on the floor. (i.e. I just went to a Stone Sour concert and the floor was a madhouse) I would look at your venue seating chart (if they have one) or call them and ask questions about it.

It generally means people of all ages, who do not have any special priveleges, for example access to bar areas, or backstage. so you'll basically have the same rights as most of the people there, and where you're standing will depend on luck.
