No question, it has to be the almighty "Rocky Horror Picture Show" - I bought the DVD years ago and whenever I'm feeling low, I just watch it and I instantly feel better (more worryingly, I know all the words to all the songs and I can sing like Tim Curry - just a shame I haven't got the legs for the stockings, though....)
Oh, and the Clint Eastwood flick is "Paint Your Wagon" - the first film I ever saw at the cinema (God, I feel old now....)

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match.
Find me a find, catch me a catch.
Matchmaker, matchmaker, look through your book
And make me a perfect match.
Matchmaker, matchmaker, I'll bring the veil.
You bring the groom, slender and pale.
Bring me a ring, for I'm longing to be
The envy of all I see.

For me its gotta be The Blues Brothers-the musical you can watch even if you aint gay, as it has great songs, comedy, car chases.
I believe that "paint your wagon" was the one with clint-I have never seen it though, as the idea of him singing truly upsets me. He's a killing cowboy, not doris day.
My wife loves Calamity Jane and Seven Brides- so she would say one of those two-although Wizard of Oz would also be up there.....

Any Rogers and Hammerstein. But Oklahoma is close to the top. If you can get it, watch "The Sound of Movies". It's a great documentary of all their great movies. It's hosted by Shirly Jones, Rita Moreno, Julie Andrews, and a few other favorites. I highly recomend it.

My favourite of all time is Cabaret. The writing is beautiful, the story fascinating. I also love Walk the Line. I must admit to loving all the Judy Garland/Micky Rooney movies too.
