Wich is scarier posoms or racoons?

I live on the lake in the woods and feed the opossum, raccoon, fox and deer several times a week. We Save all our food scraps and add a little dog food with a little grease and lots of water and put it out at dark under the security light. I have videoed the fox,opossum, and raccoon eating out of the same bowl at once. The deer like Cow pellets, and come every morning about 9:00 AM. None of the animals are scary, we can sit on our front porch and watch them, they usually don't run away. We do not try to approach them because we are not trying to tame them, just enjoy their company....Long answer.....Nuf Said

I would say raccoons. They're mean. I rarely see a possum around here but see alot of raccoons. I've chased several off my deck at night. It's creepy because I'll turn the light on and open the door. They just stand there and look at me until I yell then they run away.

Possums are just ugly... wait is it spelled opossum? well they're ugly, they have rat tails and red eyes. When I was a little boy I was walking in the brush of my back yard during the winter and I bumped against something. I turned around and saw that it was a possum hanging upside down from a branch and was frozen solid and dead. Needless to say that ruined possums for me for the rest of my life. :-(

I live in Mississippi and have stomped the woods down here for years and I can tell you that a Big Boar Raccoon will kill Opossum's, Hunting dogs and you too if you get too close.
they carry rabies and are meaner than a badger! don't let the cute fool you!

Possums are scarier for me. I've had cats that looked like raccoons so it wouldn't freak me out.

The racoons here are vicious, and not afraid of people. They are much worse then the possums.

I dint' find either scary. I do however find them to be filthy rotten pond destroying koi and gold fish eating vermin. I hate those things.
Yet considering possums are kinda ugly I'll choose them.

I'm probably wrong on this, but I think Raccoons are more aggressive than opossums.

Possums only because they are so ugly to start with - I've seen them both turn nasty when they'rer cornered.
