As history shows, socialism fails whenever it's tried. Liberals don't believe that, however, because they're incapable of learning from history. How can you learn from history when you're always changing it to fit you preexisting beliefs? They want to believe socialism works, therefore Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Red China, Cuba, etc, were paradises under their respective socialisms,

I used to want to change the world, but once I realized that more people in the world preferred that I change instead, I concluded that adapting myself to Reality was much simpler.
