NO! Then we'd REALLY be in trouble! Corporations may be investigated at any time by a dozen different agencies without a shred of evidence. Government agencies can walk into any of their facilities to insure compliance without notice. Imagine if they needed a warrant!

Edit to Additional Details: People can't be held to morals not their own WITHOUT laws to enforce them. Try again.

Yes, because in the eyes of the american government, a corporation is a person. A corporation becomes an entity in itself that can have any legal action taken upon it that can be acted upon another human being. The problem is, that even human beings arent forced into very high moral standards. So even though corporations are treated as people, moral standards aren't regulated.

I think so. I mean, if it's company policy to fire me for stealing pens...then it should be company policy to fire the higher ups or punish business owners if they do something like say...cut my yearly raise by a dime even if the company is exceeding financially (due to the hard work of the employees), in order to increase the profit margin. They're essentially stealing from me, aren't they? Granted a dime isn't much, but neither is the cost of a cheap pen. What's good for the goose.....The problem is, corporations have money, and if they were to end up in trouble, they could certainly get out of it easier than an individual.

Corporations should define their own standards and policies. They should make those standards and policies clear to those who work for them as well as those who might want to utilize their services or products. That way, everyone is on the same page. Everyone (employees) knows what's expected of themselves and everyone (clients) knows what to expect from the corporation. That way, there are no surprises.

If it is company policy that radio personnel do not cuss and make racial slurs, then employees should not be surprised when they are fired. On the other hand, if it IS company policy to cuss and make racial slurs, then the rest of the world should not be surprised to hear such things coming from the mouths of corporate employees. Unless, that corporation is violating THEIR superiors' policies.

Everyone should have the same moral standards. When President Clinton cheated on his wife, it was totally wrong, but a lot of people were up in arms about it who had done the very same thing. We shouldn't hold people to higher standards than what we should attain as well.

Corporations are NOT persons and should have no rights.

The law is in complete error when it puts corporations equal to humans and assigns rights to it.
