I don't think it has any significance.
I gather this event was about a month before the murders. At this time he was already planning them. I guess this from the fact that in Virginia you can buy only one handgun per month, and he had bought two. So he took at least a month of planning the rampage, probably more.
Nevertheless I don't think there was any significant connection between the escort and the murders. He was probably psychotic at the time he met with the escort, but managed to hide itl, though she was able to recognize that something was amiss.
