I think typically the more you have, the more you want and your priorities change. You start to take all the little things for granted, and though you may have more money, your standard of living is higher and keeps you in debt, giving you more to stress out over. I think like you said that people who have less tend to find enjoyment in more simple things. Families (not always, just typically) tend to be closer and spend more quality time together.

Poor people make do with what they have. Anything you get is considered a blessing. You take what's given you and be happy cuz you don't know when something is coming your way again.
Rich people must always worry about who is trying to steal their money. Worried about their family members being kidnapped. Always trying to make more money.
Poor people only have each other. You know your friends are real cuz you don't have anything.for them to steal.
Money doesn't buy happiness. There is a story I hear from time to time: J Paul Getty when he was very ill said he would give up all his money if he could just eat a steak.
Money is not what gets most people, rich or poor, in trouble. As the Bible says: The love of money is the root of all evil.

Studies on happiness level show that increases in income increases happiness of individuals if their incomes are less than average but has no effect at high income levels.
At all income levels money is less important than health, family and social relationships and even education. The more education you have the happier you are, probably because educated people are more satisfied with their job, even if it does not pay more.
The economist who want to equate utility with happiness find theses results disturbing because it implies that economics theory captures only a small fraction of what motivates human behavior.

Yes, money does not necessarily buy happiness, but if one doesn't have money, one can't pay the bills, buy food etc. and the person will definitely be unhappy and worrisome. So yes, having money might not give you happiness, but it at least gives stability in life. I think it beats being poor. I could think of 5 reasons off hand now that could make my family alot more adjusted, even happier if we had more disposable income.

The happiest people on earth is those have enough to eat and a warm home to go back after toiling for the day and surrounded by loves ones. Not too poor not too rich.

I think there is a happy medium to it... enough money to pay the bills and get by with a little extra is good. but i will admit, the more money you get, the more you spend.
I left money, cause it didn't buy me happiness, it cost me a lot, but it was worth it, cause i have love now and the money will come as needed.
(this is a hold up,,,,, ) HA HA HA, j/k

That's what poor artists keep telling themselves.
Rich man can do anything that a poor, and more.
Try being happy while eating Ramen 6 days a week, and living in a rented apt. right above rap nightclub.

money doesnt buy happiness but it can give you more options. money can make you have things easy but is that really the best way? if you dont have it you have to work harder to get what you want even if what you want is not money but you lean a lot along the way. i think i like being poor :)

you are right. money cannot get you happiness.but when money is donated to some needy and deserving people, it makes you happy when you see a smile on that person. the rich always works out plans to mutiply his assets, which is endless and result becoming sick and insecure. the poor is contented with whatever he has.

Be prosperous - consume the prosperous ! ! ! the poorest prosperous: george w bush and the pope; right here is the thank you to be prosperous: Create a private, own, Direct, Divine relationship with Our writer and keep Your Soul from faith's and atheist's ideals and start up Your journey back homestead, to Heaven. <<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>> Love and have self assurance in Our writer; Love and have self assurance in your self. "faith is non secular fraud"; "faith is the Worst invention of humanity"; "faith is the proper lie and deception of all time"; "oftentimes happening reality has eradicated faith from Spirituality", costs of Jesus Christ, Buddha and anybody else with non secular intelligence. "while a guy or woman is freed of religion, they have a extra suitable possibility to stay a classic and healthy life." S. Freud listed right here are a number of my costs: basically with Our writer's Love and Peace do we be somewhat unfastened! devoid of God, there is not any Love; devoid of religion, there are actually not any Wars! Freedom of religion is Freedom from faith. atheists = each and all the folk in faith = each and all the ignorant fundamentalists = each and all the cults/superstitions = paganism = wicca = taoism = xians = scientology = homosexuals/lesbians = skinheads = politicians = george w bush = attorneys.
