Yes and No
Yes as a whole people are more aware of others having fetishes and allowing people to express them as a lifestyle.
No Most people don't want to know others fetishes, or to tell others of their fetish(es).
I promote a local Fetish Club in Tampa. When I am promoting the club to people that I think would enjoy attending the club and activities, I get a wide range of responce. Most do admit of having an fetish and are not affended by nudity. But after I hand (about 60%) them a business card to attend a party they say no thanks. I ask why and almost all respond "I can't be seen there" WTF if people know you there then that meens you know them. Some people I talk to (about 20%) are suprised a such club is real.
