A long time ago I remember getting on this sight, not sure how I did but it was a brief list of plans that Disney had made. One of them was Hong Kong Disney and wouln't you know a year later BAM there it was. I remember (but not in much detail) they said something about 2020 a Disney in Texas. ON the sight they also had plans for one more with a revolving hotel. Anyone else heard of anything similiar. Or am I just going crazy.

Disney Corp. owns a large tract of land west of Houston but has never made public any plans on developing that land.

I strongly doubt that this will ever happen. There is Disneyland for the west coast and Disney World for the east coast, I dont there will ever be any need for a 3rd Disney resort in the middle. This might have been a preliminary idea at one point in time that wasnt supposed be released to the public. I hope this is only a myth and nothing but a myth.

Rumors like urban myths are daydreams not factual.Texas is a manly place so perhaps some Disney fans are wishing for a more manly Disney.Celebration,Florida had a rumor that Chuck Norris bought a house there and he is the mayor of manliness.People do not want to hear that what they think is really a symbolic bedtime story which would imply that they are children who believe in Santa Claus. Many people think Ben Franklin quotes are in the bible and that the new testament is mostly about Jesus settling the score as if the whole thing is a western.

As a Texan this rumor has been going around since before Disney World. I can not tell you how much I wish it to be true, but I have never found any documented truth to the effect.

Actually, that idea was indeed thrown around by Disney. However, after sales plummeted and the downsizing of overseas parks, I believe that has been put aside.

Nope.

Just rumors.

Also, Hong Kong took years of planning.
It didn't just pop out.

I hope not! I'm from Texas and there are already too many people hanging around. I haven't heard anything about it.
