Season 1: Kelly Clarkson. She's the best singer out there in MY opinion. She's an amazing singer with incredible vocal range. She's got the talent, the style and the personality. She's down-to-earth and sweet to everybody. Kelly is more of a versatile singer than Carrie. But I would say the toughest competition is Carrie Underwood, but I don't think that Carrie will sell more than Kelly if she sticks with Country. Kelly changes from pop(Thankful) to pop/rock(Breakaway) and now pop/rock but more rock(My December). As you can see she's keep changing and her fans love it. I want a duet from Kelly & Carrie!!!!! That'd be awesome! They're gonna sound and look great together!

Carrie and Kelly are tied!
I like Taylor but he hasn't really emerged as a star yet.
Ruben had a few songs out but has disappeared. however he is good.
Fantasia sucks. I hate her with a passion.

I would have to agree it is a tie between Kelly and Carrie. I am partial to country music(bought Carrie's C.D) and so far I've bought all of Kelly's C.D.s

My favorite winner is Kelly Clarkson, but Chris Daughtry is my favorite person that has ever been on American Idol.
