I'd love to live in Mayberry, USA.
Such a simple, down to earth place.
Even just watching, Andy, Barney, Aunt Bea and Opie is relaxing.

I would love it!
The only problem is, I am already married....
(I'd be elbowing that little schoolteacher outta the way so fast she wouldn't know what happened....)
The neat part of it is, if this really happened and I got to live in Mayberry, my husband would understand completely. I think he would concede that Andy Taylor would at least be his equal...
I'd love to be friends with Thelma Lou, but I'd have to set her straight with a few things re: Barn.

my town has no cops
Aunt Bea lives across the street
there is no crime
people are very open-minded and non-judgmental

nope...too many rednecks...and small town life...that's precisely why I moved to Las Vegas and not rural deep south anywhere...If I'd bought a house there I'd have had to live there!!
