France and UK made a supersonic airliner at about the same time as Apollo. Concorde is scrapped. There is now no airliner that does mach 1, let alone the mach 2 that Concorde could achieve.

Your silly argument falls flat on its backside.

All the idiots who have been told that the moon landings were filmed in a studio, now explain to us how that production got past ranks and ranks of controllers at mission control over the course of 3 years and 7 manned moonshots.

The simulation would have to work perfectly for 3 years without a hitch to make hundreds of contollers unaware they were being duped.

You just really have not given it much thought, really, have you?

PS - Actually, this Dick Head has already asked this question an hour or so a go and got 11 reasonable answers. So, I am not sure why we bother. I guess it is hurts to the core that the greatest expedition in history is reduced by these drongos to a non-event. Really they thenselves are the non-event, and we shoudl ignore them.

I was in high school in 1969 and I can tell you that we had good computers and other technology. The computers cost millions of dollars and filled whole rooms, but they were fully up to the task. And rocket technology? It is no better today than it was in 1969! That is why it still costs $500,000,000 dollars to fly the space shuttle. Because rocket technology has not improved much at all in 40 years. Just like car technology hasn't.

There is nothing on the moon so there is no reason to spend government money on going to the moon...and we did land on the moon in 1969 but the video showing the man landing i was told was done in a studio but i may be wrong

It's an old line that the "flat worlders" bring up. We went to the Moon. Man walked on the moon. Making use of that ability is the real challenge. It has been 30 years and the space program has been virtually stuck in neutral.

A few observations: First, you weren't even a sperm yet. The computer that navigated the craft, today we would call that a "calculator". We had things called pilots that made the final decisions. Develop that little noggin of yours. Look at the footage of the moon walks and pay attention to the shadows. See if the shadow is diffuse or totally void of light. (Look up those words if you need to). Then ask your physics prof what you need to do to get those jet-black shadows.

Some people are so ignorant of the science and technology involved in space travel that they can't comprehend how the moonlandings were accomplished--then try to cover up their ignorance by inventing "conspiracy theories>" What's really funny is that shows how ignorant these people are even more than if they kept their mouths shut.lol

Yeah, right... Actually the moon itself is a NASA hoax, the Earth is flat, and Elvis is alive and working in a donut shop in Cleveland.

Just because YOU have no idea how to get to the moon doesn't mean there aren't much smarter people than you out there - and I bet they know who to construct a simple sentence, too.
