250 mL. Boyle's Law states that the pressure on a gas and the volume of that gas are inversely related. When one is doubled (multiplied by 2) the other is halved (divided by 2).

Use the ideal gas law. PV = nRT
where P is the pressure of the Gas
V is the volume
n is the number of moles of gas
R is the gas constant
T is the temperature
If n, R and T are held constant, then
P1V1=P2V2
where P1 is the initial pressure,
V1 is the initial volume
P2 is the final pressure
V2 is the final volume
Since the two sides of the equation are equal, if one variable is doubled, the other must be halved, so the gas must reduce in volume to 250 ml

pressure on density equals R times temperature .
if pressure is doubled,R and T are still.
density should be doubled too.
so the new volum is 250ml.
hope it helped.

The new volume is halved.
Because pressure and volume are inversely related.
