Yes! Just once and it freaked me out. I unlocked the door with my key, sat down and then realized there was trash on the floor. I wondered who would do that and glanced in the backseat where there was a kid's carseat! I freaked!
I jumped out of the car and realized it was the same make and model as my car, same color exactly as mine, which was 2 cars down and in the same row. My key had worked in their car door!

Yeah, one time I was so drunk I got into a red 2 door car (a sport car) and I was suppose to get into a rusty old red 4 door!!! Couldn't figure out how to get in the back seat from the front!!!lol (But at least I got the right color!!!)
Those were the days I'd rather forget!!

I have not gone so far as gotten in the wrong car...most people lock them, but I recently walked towards the wrong car and wondered why I did such a lousy job parking until I realized that it wasn't my car. Luckily it was dark out and my car was a couple spaces down so hopefully I didn't look like a total moron!

Yes back in the day I had a blk 94 T-Bird. Car parked right next to me was a blk 94 T-Bird with same state plate! Freaked out when the door was suddenly locked & I couldn't get it opened!

no but one time I did try for 15 minutes to open a car that wasn't mine with my key. Didn't realize it until the actual owner of the car came up and asked me what i was doing.
Talk about embarrassing.

No, but one time, my mother was going to a car, that looked exactly like ours. So, she was opening the door, and it wouldn't open. There was a lady staring suspiciously. Then she realized that the car was our mom's friend's car, and the suspicious lady was laughing non-stop. It was hilarious!

No Can't say I have ever done that before. If I ever did I would be really embarrassed and I'd hope that the people didn't think I was out to steal their car because I'm not a thief.

YES! Once. It was identical to mine parked right next to mine in the parking lot.
Right after I sat down, I realized it wasn't mine because there was all this stuff in the car that I didn't recognize. I jumped about a foot and yelled WHOA!
I jumped out of the car and it took me a few seconds to realize that I hadn't lost my mind. I looked over and saw my car on the other side.

yes l did. l was hitch hiking home very late one night after we were coming home from a bar and l got in a car with a drunk driver. and the driver of this car almost drove off a cliff with me in the car and l was taking a fit and l told the driver to stop the car and l got out and walked the rest of the way home. lm never gonna do that again, that was the scariest moment of my life.

Yes...I ran in and out of a little shop because I was in a hurry. I hurried and opened the door and just about climbed in when all the sudden I realized...WOW this isn't my van...this is a dirty piece of crap van. I was sooo embarrassed. I really hope the owner did not see me do that.
