I prefer the sofa, but so does hubby, son and the cat. I usually get stuck in the recliner since I am often the last to get in the room.

Cream, off-white, a pale blue, sage green are all acceptable palates to use. Use mostly fall colors if you want a strong accent(dark orange, etc)color. I'm not a designer, so I know nothing of styles, lol, just that those are the colors of my living room and it looks pretty good to me ;) Good luck!
