Seeing their performance against Australia in ODI series played at New Zeland just prior to world cup, New Zeland were rated very high and many people were hoping that
they will be able to win the world cup. However, in the sem,i final against Sri Lanka today, they miserably failed to play to their potential and lost the match and also the hope of winning the world cup.
