The lyrics and vocals tend to be better, and the instruments don't weigh down the songs. A lot of balance. Jpop completely dominates modern American pop... Plus, the visual kei jrock bands outdo any glam band from the 70s.

you mean like authentic Japanese music. that's called micro tones in the east the music sounds unusual cause they don't use are music system like notes but yeah i like it. you have to get used to it tho.
