I am going to change detergent for the first time in years, and I want something that smells really, really good. I am more of a floral type person- no fruity scents.

i use 2 different kinds: tide with febreeze, and a plain unscented one with vanilla-lavender fabric softener.

just go to wal-mart or wherever, and open the caps and smell different detergents until you find 'the one'

Gain always smells good, some are fruity but others aren't. Downy smells good too, just like a fresh laudrymat.
