In Oklahoma the legal age is 16. But if you get a work permit from your school you can get a job at 14, if you can get someone to hire you. I got hired at a pet shop when I was 14. Just ask you principal or superintendent if they could sign a work permit for you. Good luck!

14 in NH! depends on where u live, im 14 too and in NH u can get a job, im starting a job at a super market. To get a job go get an application and then they might have and interview with you. You can't work with food products untill you are 16 though so don't try to get a job at Macdonald's or scooping ice cream.

well for teenagers, it depends, depends where you want to do the part-time work shift. However, I believe 16 year of age is recommended, and you need a work permit from your school. Yes you need a work permit papers from your school, or you will have a hard time getting a job.

In the State of New York you need working papers at fourteen and are restricted to a certain number of hours. At sixteen you get different working papers and can work a few more hours.
Then at 18 you can do whatever you want.
