There is not set time. Sometime you never really get over it you just learn to live with is. As they say time heals all wounds so its very hard in the beginning but each day its gets a little easier. Some people can get over being betrayed easy while it may take others months maybe even a year, it depends on the person and how deeply they were hurt.

Unforunately there is no answer to this, it depends on each instance. It depends on your resilience, and your will to move forward and leave the past behind. My sister's dealing with this, the divorce has dragged on for almost a year now, but it's given her something else to focus on while she gets over it. It does get better with time.
