Yes, I know it sounds bad, but sometimes you just can't get someone of the phone (with me it was a drunk friend) so I have acted like my phone just died. Not too often though, just once or twice.

Ha! Yes. I was drunk and laying in bed and I wanted to go to sleep and she kept going on and on. I clicked the end button. Then the next day I told her my phone went dead and then I fell asleep. I confessed months later. Her eyes got big and her mouth dropped open and then both laughed.

No, but I've not answered my phone and said it was dead. That way you don't even have to deal with people annoying you until you're ready for it.
