Here it is spring again. Now all the idiots who didn't have their animals spayed/neutered will be dropping off their puppies and kittens at my sister's farm. She works hard and doesn't have much money either. Why should she pay to have your animals taken to the vet or take time out of her day to take them to the shelter? Even if she shot them she'd have to pay for bullets and the lime to bury them in. Come on people, farmers don't want or need your cast-offs. NEUTER YOUR PETS!!!

Been there done that. People don't take the hint or get the message. I love animals (i have 16) but don't give me more because you don't want them. She might try talking to the local cops, see if they will patrol more to see if they can catch people in the act. If you make an example of some many people, they might get the ideal.

My grandpa owns an 80 acre farm... people are always dumping kittens in his front yard. It's so sad. Fortunately he loves it and always keeps food out for his barn cats.
It is quite rude though... people assume that because you have a ton of land that you want a million animals and can afford to care for them all. How much harder is it to take those kittens to an animal shelter where they'll get adopted in a day or two instead of just dumping someplace? Or geez, sell them even, people will pay for a cute baby animal. If you just dump them on someone's land they could get snatched up by another animal or wander out onto a road and get hit before anybody finds them.

Some people are just dumb asses when it comes to having pets..They dont consider that animals dont just have one, but multiples...and then the animals have to suffer from the consequences of abuse..i see it all the time..I live in Texas and people are nortorious for that behaviour..Last summer I went for ride down the road on my horse with a friend, and someone had left either a littler of puppies or kittens with the mom in a box to die....The skeletons were there so I couldnt tell if it was kitties or doggies..Made me sick...Some people just dont give a dam about animal ownership..I wonder how they treat their own children..I have taken in four unwanted cats, but I had them fixed, and now they are loved and cared for....People do all kinds of rotten things to their pets..Animal control is a joke here..They dont care, and would rather shoot the animals instead of taking back to the shelter..It happened to some other animal lover near by..he picked up unwanted puppies took them home and fed them, then made the mistake of calling animal control..They came out, thinking they were taking them in. Instead they shot them and left them in his yard...He was mad and called the sherriffs, but they did nothing...Rotten. s.o.bs.....What do we do? If you have any answeres please express them..

I think everyone should nueter and spray their pets. It sorta scares me to see so many puppies and kittens being born while there's like a three times as many in an animal shelter.

Well considering the fact I have no clue who your sister is she will not get my cast offs.I do agree that people should get their pets fixed.I don't ;live on a farm , and I have taken many kittens and puppies and found homes for them.I also don't have time or money. So maybe you should rethink the way you ask a question.

We have the same problem with cats biieing dumped on our street.We're on a dead end and they drive down and stop and dump the poor cat out of the car.Its scared and lost and runs around trying to find food.I leave a bowl on my deck so they can at least get some food.We're on a fixed income too.

ugh. that drives me crazy. what is the thought process? "Oh, lets have some puppies that we don't want. I just know that the farmers will love having another mouth to feed!!!" Idiots.

you tell them Susan..here where i live people have dropped of 3 beautiful cats ;and now they are scared to death of humans ' and i can't blame them,,,i feed the blind tom cat and his 2 friends,,,people please spay + neuter your pets and love them for life' not just until the cat litter goes on the floor,,,lol
