I'm writing a presentation paper about why you should buy Kenmore stoves. But the problem is that I don't know what to write in my introduction paragraph. The teacher told me to either write a surprising fact, tell a joke, tell a story, or ask questions. What do you think should I write?

Start your paper with something that generates a little curiosity, so you spur the reader to read further to get the information you are presenting.

Our grandmothers had them. Our mothers had them. And the current generation of Americans are still buying them. What are they? Kenmore appliances. Stop and think for a moment. Who do you know that has a Kenmore washer, dryer, refrigerator, or stove? Just about everybody you know. Over 60% of American homes have a Kenmore appliance. American consumers trust Sears and the Kenmore name for quality appliances.

Note: I'm not sure if I remembered the correct percentage of homes with a Kenmore. That trivia website was a great suggestion from Debijs.

And don't plagiarize my paragraph. Write your own. I was just giving you a sample of how you could use the trivia information to ask questions and build curiosity.

The price of a new stove just burns me up. I want to get as much stove as I can for my money. Kenmore stoves are highly rated, long lasting and reasonably priced. When choosing a stove I should have just asked my Mom she is still cooking on the Kenmore stove she used to warm my baby bottles.

Kenmore stoves lasts a long time.
Some of them still have the flouresent light you turn on
and fuse sockets to plug in things like can openers, etc.
Kenmore is a good brand that last a long time.
They have a timer to time the foods.
The updated ones have the grill burners.
