when you put on the right amount of makeup it should enhance your natural beauty if you put on too much it'll take away:) i'm a soph in hs and i wear a full face of makeup every day and i started wearing eye makeup at age 13 that is a lot for some people but don't wear it because you feel you have to or pressure from society makeup enhances your beauty and it boosts the confidence of many women. it is also good to develop good makeup skills, but that just maybe my own opinion. i feel like good makeup skills come in handy especially later on. an easy makeup routine would include just minimal eyeliner, some mascara and concealer where/if needed, this is a good starters routine:)

no. i would say that you don't know how to apply it properly. try going to a makeup counter in a department store and learn how to accentuate your positive features
