Clean your mom REALLY well with dish detergent. Don't use too much. Mop again. Then, mop with clear water.

I use to have this problem. The people who'd lived in our house before we bought it waxed the floors many, many times and didn't strip them. I had no idea why the floors were always sticky after I'd moped... My best friend visited one day just after I'd moped and she broke the mystery.

An oven cleaner like Mr. Muscle can be used to remove this waxy build-up on flooring, cautiously and well ventilated!

If after trying the above you still have that tacky feeling on your floors, add one- half capful of Downy Fabric Softener.

Try Mr Clean. Never use products that you have to rinse after you mop. There are alot of cleansers that you have to rinse after you mop.
Make sure you read the directions on any cleaning supply you use!

Wash floor with following solution:

1/2 cup vinegar, 1 cup rubbing alcohol plus enough hot water to fill a 1/2 gallon jug--like a milk jug that you have washed out.

Wash floor thoroughly with this product, then rinse with boiling water.

It sounds like your are putting to much soap in your water. Just add a small amount. If it contunues to be sticky you can put some vinegar in the clear water and that should remove all soap residue. It's easy to overdue soap, it really only takes a small amount.
