Blue smoke is burning oil. Piston rings, most likely. Blue smoke means it's time for new engine (usually). Good luck

If it is blue, it isn't good...it means oil is getting into the cylinders and burning...if you are lucky (a relative term), it may only be the valve seals, but if not then it is piston rings, requiring an overhaul of the engine, or replacement with a rebuilt engine...one may cost $500, the other $1800 to $2400...

i own a shop and if its blue its oil smoke,so you need to keep an eye on the oil level in it,there are several things that can cause this to happen ,a bad head or a blown head gasket, and the list goes one,the main thing to remember ,is keep the oil level full in it until you can get if repaired, good luck hope this helps.

Bluish smoke is oil burning, this is due to worn valve seals. If you have a V-6 it will run like $600-$800 to have new seals installed. 4 cylinder $500-$700..... just guestimations.....

shouldn't be making any smoke. Best to take it to a mech. to have a quick look(more than 1 mech) or those friends with mech knowledge.
