Using force to support your cause isn't being diplomatic, so diplomacy is the more educated fore mat. This is discussed in our Constitution and Bill of Rights that was written by our fore-fathers. One sided view points never work, thus this is the uneducated theory. Keep doing what your doing, expecting a different result, is considered insanity by the text books.

Hi,
You say history proves liberalism preceded disasters. When people say things like that, other people see them as uneducated but the better term for it would be miseducated.
"Why are conservatives considered uneducated?"
Because many of them display ignorance about the world around them or events occuring now or in the past. Most people are uneducated, not just conservatives.
"Many liberal people label conservatives as uneducated and/or ignorant. They always reference the fact that people are more civilized nowadays and therefore should change their views on certain issues most notably, social issues."
I've never referenced that fact and don't know what you're talking about.
"I love history. The great thing about history is that there is always going to be more to learn. I am constantly educating myself about it. Through my study of history I find that a liberal mentality has more often than not preceded disaster. "
Well history is very important, but using it to support a particular view and ignoring other parts of history is no better than not knowing history at all. In other words, if you study history with a strong prejudice or predetermined bias, and dismiss historical events that do not support your claims, or twist the facts of events to make them support your claims, then you really aren't learning anything except your own delusions according to your own wishful thinking.
"WWII: Appeasement - we allowed Hitler to take the Sudetenland because we didn't want to cause problems. In retrospect this is what would be considered a bad move."
Appeasement wasn't due to liberalism, it was due the simple desire to avoid war and to continue strengthening economies that were devastated by the world depression. In the same way that the European and Asian powers have "allowed" the US to take Iraq, they weren't appeasing so much as merely avoiding unwanted conflict. Only a long (and accurate) look back in history can tell someone if avoiding conflict was the wise choice or not.
"WWII: Isolationism - We thought that Hitler was not our problem. Again, bad move."
Most governments make decisions (since thousands of years ago, according to history) primarily based on the interests of business. The businesses were totally opposed to becoming active in the war because they saw it as potentially very harmful for business. Until we entered the war, business was doing well trading with both sides in WW2. Our isolationism wasn't due to "liberalism" as you falsely claim.
"I should go on, but I am running out of space. I know that some of you will say Vietnam was a conservative war, but remember, JFK started it all."
No. Eisenhower did in 1956. He was a conservative.
"If history shows us that liberalism is often the bad move, aren't liberals the ones who need a better education? "
That's not what history shows, so your argument is silly and invalid.

Their is no sides that hold the absolute truth, if you think that they conservatives have the best answers to save the world, then look at Bush... But also, you can't remain blind from what happen around the world, since the world is now forming a global economy. So I guess liberals will need to change their motto a little if they want to remain connected with the world, has if not, they will never succeed to build anything if they never care about what is happening the other side of the planet... So now I guess your country would need something more at the center in order to survive, but this is only a guess... I may not be educated enough to know about what I am talking, but i have seen the south east asia region while living over there for almost four years, and can tell you, USA have to be prepared for whats coming, if not WE the occidental world will become the undeveloped countries...

Why are conservatives considered uneducated? I wouldn't make such a general assertion.
However, I might consider you uneducated because you believe: JFK started the Vietnam war, that isolationism is a liberal stance, and because of your simplistic understanding of Neville Chamberlain's politics.
Of course appeasement (a loaded term) was a mistake, but there was a lot more going on in UK politics at the time. Chamberlain's rhetoric of "knowing things that the common man did not know" was more akin to Bush than any liberal President in my lifetime.
You and I would both do ourselves a favor by not buying into generalities (liberal vs conservative) and by not judging others.

Conservative strong holds are in the South. The South is considered to be uneducated by the North. Not saying it is right or wrong, that is just the perception.
Isolationism has historically been a conservative platform. Go back to the history books.

Anyone that truly believes either of the Bushes are conservative really have the blinders on. Same for McCain. They refuse to even see their noses. So how can you convince them who is a true conservative? The last true leader... the last true conservative this country had as president was President Ronald Regan. All that followed were globalists... who truly believe the United Nations should be the one world government! What a laugh!

Well, here's the thing liberals get accused of teaching conservative children in the K-12 systems and then we are accused of having taken over higher education as well. According to conservatives finger pointing, liberals are the educated.

i say you are pretty much correct in your assumptions and conclusions. The danger we all face is that in here, there are generally idiots and rabblerousers---on both sides---while america is, as you say, much more moderate in it's collective thinking. You are wise to question different viewpoints, and the most important thing you can do is continue to be involved in the political process, studying each candidate/politicians' stance on each issue, then make your mind up accordingly. And don't be afraid to keep an open mind. Heck, i started out as a republikan, switched to a democrat and finally ended up an independent, freeing me from a particular party line philosophy and letting me make my political vote based on the individual, not on someone a particular party endorses.

They usually outgun their Liberal counterparts quite handily. Therefore, if Conservatives are deemed to be uneducated and can debate Libs until they cry for their Mommy and run home, what does that say about their level of education and maturity?
Liberals require much more than additional education and command of the facts (something they sorely lack).

I like this one.
Ok, the answer is Elitism.
It is an arrogant belief that anyone who does not agree with an Elitist, must either be uneducated, stupid, a hypocrite, a warmonger or just plain insane.
Weird most of the rest of us "Non-Elites" listen to the opinions Elitists have and give them respect.
