an aggressor enemy in wartime? Who owns Alsace-Lorraine these days? How about the Sudetenland? Gdansk?

"Occupied Territories" my posterior! That area is properly called Judea and Samaria and should NEVER have been returned to Muslim filth.

To those who take exception to my allusion to Muslim filth: When was the last time you read about a Presbyterian flying planes into buildings? How many Hindus hijack cruise ships and push elderly wheelchair-bound people overboard? Are there a lot of Buddhists putting people on trial for their lives for the "crime" of conversion to a different religion? Are Jews promised 72 virgins for killing non-Jews? Is a fundamental cornerstone of Confucianism that all must be either Confucians or be killed?

zh: You really might want to read some history. The only war Israel has ever fought which can be debated as to who started it was the 1967 war. Israel was invaded by the armies of 5 Arab nations in 1948. The Egyptians sent fedeyeen to terrorize Israel prior to the 1956 war. The 1973 war began with a surprise joint attack by Egypt and Syria on Yom Kippur.

Mr USA: All Israeli citizens, Arab, Druze, or Jew, shares EXACTLY the same rights. Please explain what you are talking about. Arabs who live in Judea and Samaria are not citizens.

Robert: The Soviets never maintained that they owned eastern Europe. They installed puppet régimes, but Bulgaria was still Bulgaria, for example.

I would dearly LOVE to talk Canadian politics and history with you. There was just an election last month in Québec in which the Parti Québécois (the party which wants independence for Québec) was soundly defeated. There is little taste for sovereignty. Two referenda have already been defeated, and if the PQ is ever in government again, it will be made three.

Islamic law states that if land is Islamic, it is always Islamic. It MUST be reclaimed if taken.

A word to the wise in the United States. Be very careful who you rent to or sell to. Read up a bit, first. In their eyes, you are selling your country away, piece by piece, to them.

There's is no longer a Judea and Samaria. Europe gave Palestinian land to European jews to make them somebody else's problem. Israel went ahead and stole the remaining Palestinian land so that now Palestinians are living in cities with Israeli military checkpoints on all West Bank highways, preventing Palestinians from leaving whatever city they're in. In 20 yrs., those cities will all be ghettos. The Israelis learned well from Hitler (Warsaw ghetto). The extermination of the Palestinians will be completed within 2 generations. The U.S. is directly responsible for this ethnic cleansing. We give Israel $10 billion each year to buy U.S. military equipment, which causes arab countries to also spend billions on U.S. arms to keep pace. We maintain an arms race to make money. The military industry could care less for Israel. muslims are not filth. They're just ppl who've been under assault for thousands of years by the west. The Israeli jews are Europeans, after all.

I understand what you are saying about captured lands. All throughout history people have lost land and wanted it back but it basically came down to "tuff luck losers". The Palestinians are living in horrible conditions but even if Israel wanted to give important lands back to them, the extremist parts of their nation would start blowing themselves up in Israel cities because according to them there is no "sharing". It's more like "return every single millimeter back or it's going to be constant suicide bombings and such. Sounds pretty unrealistic to me. What would you do if you were in that situation? I think that it's real easy to become cynical and start to hate, but hate only begets more hate. Let's all be a positive example of our faiths no matter what we believe in.

You are wrong in Canada both the French and the Indians want their land back. They are useing a combination of legal methods and civil disobedience to get their way.
Russian was forced to give back eastern Europe and the Chechen war is still on going.

I'd suggest giveing the USA back to the Indians you murdering thieving thugs.

Well I hope your views are supported by basically no one. Especially since just about every war Israel started. I do appreciate your addiction to ancient historical boundaries. I wonder if China were strong enough and imposed similar rules regarding the original inhabitants of where you live would you still speak as you do?
