Zeus/Juputier, the God of gods and men. You'll easily find information about them online, compared to the others. Perhaps write about Zeus becoming King of the gods in mythology.

Why not write in on Athena? She's the goddess that Athens is named for. She sprung, fully formed, from Zeus's head. So, in a way, she was born of Immaculate Conception. She was also chaste, the rare Greek goddess who stayed a virgin and never married. She is the patroness of education, civilization, and maybe even sentience.

Why don't you compare a god and goddess with a similar 'function'? Like Aphrodite and Eros?
