George W. Bush was confirmed AWOL from the air national guard from the year 1972-1973.

If he cares so much about the USA and protecting it.. why was he AWOL for duty?

Proof postive and confirmed by military documents scanned below at that link

http://www.glcq.com/bush_at_arpc1.htm

So does anyone know where he was and what he might have been doing?

It's easy to believe what you want to believe without question. I have no idea if the Bush Man was ever AWOL. But I would need a lot more evidence than what is presented at the aforementioned website. It isn't a government website. And just like the Dan Rather incident, is subject to a great deal of suspicion, since obviously the bloke that set up the website had an agenda to push. Misinformation is so easy to fabricate on both sides of the political isle. So do I believe it? Maybe.... maybe not. I don't take anything as the gospel truth that comes form someone with a political agenda to push on those not in the real know.

I know what he was doing cause i was there. We were fighting the war on drugs. We took it upon ourselves to smoke all the weed we could find before it fell into the hands of our countries children. So leave the poor guy alone we were doin our patriotic duty. Al Sharpton was there also but he kept eatin all of the cheetos and it was really pissing me off, I mean come on how many cheetos can one man eat. It was a great year. We went to the beach and fly kites and made sandcastle and stopped a columbian smuggling ring by using up all their drugs. We wore batman and robin costumes and pretended to be superheroes. OHHHH and about August 1972 we went to this summer camp and met up with Dr Phil and made some of the most amazing macaroni art the world has ever seen. Then we got stoned and ate it but trust me it was beautiful. And about December 1972 we dressed as ninjas and scared the crap out of Fidel Castro, i swear he pissed his pants, it was awesome. Fidel got sooo mad at us cause he thought we was assasins but we took off the masks and he was like "hey guys whatsup"and we were like not much "Fdawg" (that was his nickname btw) and he was like "check this stuff out"and he busted out a big box of cubans and we made some killer blunts. GOOD TIMES.

So to answer your question huh? wtf did u ask?

to the 2 who state the ANG dispute this, you're partially correct, although he was never AWOL officially, he did miss many flight exams and physical examinations during his final years of service, types of offenses that would have earned the non connected AWOL or even deserter status and most likely at least some brig time...but in his defense, it wasn't like a whole bunch of rich kids didn't pull this

He wasn't AWOL.

Don't you love these posts. Read the rest of his posts. They're very entertaining. The best argument against such things is to see what else the same poster says, how logical and patriotic they are. Educate yourselves, people.

Create a link to actual documents held by government sources, and we might believe it.

I can direct you to some "genuine" pictures of President Bush eating babies? Will that satisfy your appetite for sedition?

What nonsense.

Thanks for posting that White House provided data.

It seems while he did serve some weekends, there were a large number of months in '72 when he did not report.

The same is true for '73.

At best, he was a part time National Guard pilot with a lot of missing service. Bush deserves the grief he gets over that pathetic record.

This may be true but he is not close to being alone. Can you tell me about Clinton's service record? Oh yeah he never served anywhere. In fact he wrote a letter stating that he loathes the Military.

Who cares. What will knowing that change the world today. He can't run again. The democrats didn't put up worthy opponents in the past 2 presidential elections.

People voted for the lesser of 2 of questionable choises.

He was probably hunting John Kerry to punch him in the nose for becoming a traitor to the US military.

Was it 1972 that Bill "Inhaled"?

And in 1973, wasn't Whitewater land appraised (at twice its value)?

You know...you're right. What happened in the seventies is sooooooooooo important right now. I mean, there's no way that someone who may or may not have been in a "less than desireable" position thirty-four years ago could possibly even be deemed sane today, right?

Get a life, man..really.

You don't like the president? How original. You're gonna have to do better than this one.
