true love, to me, is one that is caring, kind, and builds you up,,, yet is not one that makes you dependent on the other person,,,, it enrichs the life, that you have built/are building, for yourself

Love is blind only in the first days of our encounter with the object of our love. With time our eyes open and if we only loved because we were blind then we stop loving. I would say true love is when you know bad stuff about somebody but love them anyway, so you are not starting from the "blind" spot and there wont be surprises along the way so you are unlikely to stop loving.

Love is Love. Folks use words like true, only, deep, meaningful, etc. in front of the word LOVE to give emphasis to something which is very hard to explain. There either is love or there is not. Nothing more.

Love is not blind. It may be a cliche, but love is patient; love is kind...and so on and so forth. My thoughts on love is that the word cannot be given a definite definition; however, when one loves, her passion and reason comes to a resting point; a point in which the two agree.

If love is not true then it cannot be love, therefore, love and true love should mean the same – just love. Then love is all the love, indivisible in its essence. If there are various forms of love then it is only because there are various forms of expressions of love. Then if life is all that we have, and it could be all that we can give when we live for someone, for some purpose, cause or a mission, then love of life is all that we have as the origin of all that would then be its expressions. When we learn to value life, we show this by our affiliation to the things of live according to certain regards of living for life. We love our parents, partners and children as love in us finds its most natural and profound form of expressions.

Morbid. Not everyone finds true love but those that do find true happines. About 20% of people remain single and as we know 50 to 60 % fail in their first partnership.

True love to me is when you miss that person so much it hurts. You can't get them out of your mind and you live, eat and sleep them. Boundaries aren't there with true love, you can't help the way you feel ! It's uncondtional. It can be an agony but its there regardless.

Semantically, it is really subjective to the asker and answerer. But essentially, it is an attraction of the soul to a perceived other, whose disappearance would sadden you.

It is where you share many unique experiences and you feel the happiness and pain of the other person, but I think that it fades and disappears after a period of time.
