I think liberals have an "underdog" complex.
No matter what the situation, they try to see things ONLY from the perspective of the weaker side of it.
As far as the democrats screeching for retreat, withdrawal and flat out emboldening OUR enemies, the radical Islamic extremists, by showing them how divided and faltering we have become, they are strictly acting for political gain, and not at all in the interest of our country.

Oh, I don't know about that statement. As a democrat and an American I am pretty pleased with the democrats, much more so than I am with republicans. If you are an African American perhaps you should be pleased with democrats as well since they were the true proponents of civil rihts in this country. How anyone could be a minority and a republican is beyond any understanding, truly.

America has no enemies. We have victims. Of course our victims hate us. Democrats believe in good capitalism resulting in win-win situations for all involved. Unfortunately, conservatives espouse 'dark capitalism', "We'll make a fortune at somebody's expense." Great way to make enemies. An example is U.S. mineral resource corps that lease land in desperate, impoverished 3rd world countries, knowing secretly that they discovered some raw mineral resource in the land. The corp makes billions off the resource while the corrupt host govt. makes a few million from the lease (usually 50 yr leases) and the people all around starve and die of diseases. Our military is spread out in 50 countries trying to keep those people from revolting.
Not nice.

I am horribly insulted by your question... first off I am a proud Democrat... and I think about the US and it's citizens first and foremost... I am probably more patriotic than you are -in what deranged idea do you get that I would ever support America's enemies... get something new to complain about.. because you don't know me to judge me.. just like I don't know you to judge you...

uh... according to recent midterms... apparently they are, at the very least, pleasing American voters...

now, if you say they are pleasing American enemies... wouldn't that mean that voters voted for an anti-American agenda? I don't think that's true at all..
