I am planning to build a Space Shuttle and need to know a good mixture with a lot of thrust.

Well, I am a chemist. A good mixture would be Hydrogen gas. When ignited, it reacts with Oxygen in the atmosphere to form water (H2O). The result would be lots of combustion. You could also use Methane. Methane is HIGHLY combustable and would give good power also. In some parts of the world Methane is used in cars. These two things would be very clean to run and would not hurt the environment. The CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) the trees use for food. The balanced chemical reaction equations for these two reactions I mentioned are below. Hope this helps.
